Sweetness was found laying beside the road outside a local Army base,
watching cars go by for two days before somebody came to help her. Whether
someone dumped her or she was there by happenstance, we don't know, but
Sweetness gave birth to 11 puppies on August 31, almost immediately after
arriving at her foster home.
Sweetness is a dog who practically named herself, she really is as sweet
as her name implies. She was a wonderful gentle mom and happily shared her
puppies with the other foster moms. She has given them lots of attention,
but she is just a puppy herself and craves attention as well.
She is a high energy dog who loves to romp with the other foster dogs.
Her pictures do not do this beautiful girl justice, you can see her
fantastic stance, ears, tail etc. but she has not yet regained her figure
after having all those pups. But she will! Especially if she finds a family
that will keep her active.
We believe she was someone's pet at one time. Heart worms in this region
strike any dog who isn't kept on preventative, and she arrived in rescue
heartworm negative. She is a young girl, about a year, and this is her
first, and last, litter. Won't you write us today for a chance to adopt
Sweetness, she is waiting. E-mail: jeffcoarkansashumanesociety@yahoo.com
