Benji

Benji was brought into the vet clinic where I work by animal control who found him on the side of the road. He was pulling himself up the street with a broken leg; he had no tags or chip. We put out many "found dog" signs but no one claimed him.

Benji more than likely had a good home at one time, he is sociable, housetrained, has good manners and is obedient; someone had to have taught him to be a good boy. He is slightly shy and timid at first meeting, but very quickly warms up. He is never aggressive.

Benji, and is very well socialized around people and other animals. He has been in a run at our animal hospital with another rescue dog, an 8 month old Puggle, so he would be just fine with another dog. He is such a sweet dog! He would be a great companion for someone looking for a little canine buddy, or someone in need of a second dog.

Benji presently has a cast on his front right foot, but it is healing nicely and should be good as new by Thanksgiving. There is a $200 adoption fee for Benji to recover the cost of his veterinary expenses. But he's worth it! If you would like to give this little guy a good home, and can keep him out of traffic, please e-mail: karamie383@gmail.com
