Rascal

Rascal is about one year old, very playful and high energy sort of dog. He is extremely confident and has no fear of anything. He has no tendency toward aggression or possessive behavior that we aware aware of.

Rascal likes to chase anything that moves: balls, toys, cats, rabbits, etc. He plays well with other dogs and seems to adore children, the more active the child the more he likes them!

Rascal will have to be crated because when he gets bored he chews. We give him a Kong toy with some peanut butter in it and it keeps him busy. Left alone in a room he prefers socks, then shoes, toilet paper and wood furniture rank high on his menu so crating is an absolute necessity.

Rascal like walks and will walk as long as you are willing to keep going! We are working on training him to be better behaved on leash. He will occasionally try to chase off after rabbits and squirrels but we are working with the Bark Busters techniques and he is making a lot of improvement.

As a special note our local Bark Busters trainer has given us a certificate for a free one hour training session just for Rascal to help him and his new owners get him adapted to a new home. If you are interested in giving Rascal a forever home please call 816-333-9000 or e-mail: carolyn_the_groomer@yahoo.com
