Ginger is a very sweet basenji mix that loves attention. She was found
left in the ditch two years ago by our vet.
Ginger is approximately three years old and still has that playful puppy
disposition. She is not aggressive and does not nip. She gets along well
with other dogs especially if they want to run around and play with her. And
she also gets along well with our cat who loves to be chased by Ginger.
Ginger does well with children but might get a little too excited for
toddlers, although she was great with my 6 and 7 year-old nieces when they
came to visit.

This girl loves to have her belly rubbed, and she'll curl up on the couch
next to you in the evenings. She is crate-trained and housebroken. If she
gets bored she will find things to chew on.... usually it's her big bone
kong or a nylabone but every now and then she'll find something else that's
been left on the ground such as sunglasses or socks. If left outside too
long, she will get bored and start to dig. We noticed this happened much
less when we took in another stray puppy who also liked to play.
