Hey there, I'm Betsy -- you can call me Bets though -- and I fit the description of a Basenji mix to a T! I was running around in the neighborhood until someone took me in and promised to find me a forever home. I can't understand who wouldn't want ME!

I'm really curious and intelligent and I'm great with kids and good with other dogs, but I think I'm a little too rambunctious for the older dogs that live here; they like things calm. But I can be calm too! During those moments I'm cuddly and love to be close to the other dogs as well as cuddle with people and kids...

I think I'd like a family who will give me a lot of love and a lot of attention. I have SO much to offer, but I might get myself in trouble in a home that doesn't have time to devote to me. I really am still just a youngster, I haven't learned everything yet but you could teach me! I'm a good learner!

I'm a warm, free spirit and I love to run...fast! I can be an escape artist and will run if a door is open.... I just have so much happy energy. I'm not at all food aggressive and I sit on command and wait for my food. I LOVE rawhide bones and toys, and I can play, play, play!
