Blaze

Blaze is currently living in Mattoon, IL and if someone does not adopt her quickly my husband says she is staying! She is a very normal puppy. She has had the advantage of being kept with her litter until now so she has nice play skills and is not 'mouthy'. She loves to cuddle and with adequate exercise and activity will gladly sleep next to you while you have quiet time after dinner. She has shown nice manners with the four adult dogs in my home and very confidently joins in the B-500.

Currently Blaze is small for her age of 7 months, so she may always be smaller that the average basenji. She has a nice coat and tiny little feet. Her tail curves up over her back but does not curl. She is healthy and energetic. She was spayed a few days ago but that has not seemed to bother her at all.

Puppies require extra time and attention. Like any pup, Blaze is apt to chew on things she shouldn't unless supervised or crated. We have only just started her potty training and at this point she will potty in her crate. She will need a home where her owner can let her out at least every 3 or 4 hours during the day and evening hours, however she sleeps soundly at night without going out to potty or having accidents.

If you are interested in adding a puppy to your family please write BRAT coordinator, Bill and Elizabeth Newton. and tell me how she will spend her time.
