Dillon
This handsome guy is looking for somebody to love. Someone
to go on long walks with, brisk walks or a jog. So if you've been looking
for the same, look no further! Dillon enjoys being outside. He loves to
chase anything that moves. During quiet times, he likes to be near his
people and cuddling. He knows how to relax, too.
Dillon is a big, loveable lug who has turned into a prince
since coming to his foster home. He knows "sit" and "down" and we're working
on "stay" and "off." He and his new family would benefit from basic
obedience (obedience for the dog, positive reinforcement by the humans).
Dillon is comfortable being handled all over by people he's comfortable
with. He does not like going to the vet and gets a bit snarky.
Dillon does not like to be crated and would do best in a
home with someone home or around a good portion of the day. Then, he doesn't
really need to be crated because he isn't destructive in the house. He might
do OK with a canine companion, but they would need to meet first. He gets
along OK with 2 of his 3 foster-dog-sisters. But he prefers human company to
canine. Dillon is food aggressive, so care needs to be taken at mealtime and
when handing out treats, if there are other dogs around.
If you think you could provide Dillon with love, activity, and evening
cuddle-time, please read the data sheet below carefully, complete
the BRAT
adoption form (if you have not previously done so)
and contact BRAT coordinator,
Roberta Kosek. The coordinator's link will take you to a form that will
ask you your name, e-mail address, the city and state you live in, why this dog is perfect for your family, a
typical day in your household, and, if applicable, how you plan to
transport the dog. |
